Talon George's artistic journey began at the tender age of five, drawing alongside his uncle on scraps of paper and cardboard. By age 10, he began carving, skillfully using wood to follow the forms and traditions of Kwakwaka’wakw art.
George is a proud member of the Gwa’sala and ‘Nakwaxda’xw people, two First Nations tribes on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
